Du bist nicht allein 2007 A movie about the different lives of families living next to each other on the 8th floor of a German apartment building, focusing on their different problems and interaction Each member of the cast gives an authentic performance and by concentrating on 2 subplots, the story line keeps diversified Though concentrating on rather sincere topics, the movie keeps its ease by creating a humorous and sarcastic point of view on the problems of daily living The film concludes with some kind of open ending, which is quite enjoyable In contrast to most German productions i saw recently, this movie really was worth the time watching it
