Storyline:

Il corsaro (1970) An English buccaneer loses his ship in a cards game, and tries to pass for a priest, to restart a new life. Eventually, he is found out, arrested, and sent in a ship headed to the colony of Canada, with a mix of prisoners - pirates, robbers, and prostitutes. In the high seas, he starts a mutiny and ends up acclaimed as the new captain. Fortunate this time, he wins a battle against a Spanish ship, and helps an English Governor retake possession of his colony. The buccaneer can now acting as before, but under the King's protection.
